[band=skitsystem]: I'd seen one of the dudes kicking around since the moment we got here. I was told that thomas lindberg was in this band. It definitely smacked of his hands. The sound at least. With the two singers it was very full sounding. Crowd surfing really picked up during their set. [band=cock_and_ball_torture]: I missed the first few songs, but I gotta say, all pitchshifted vocals bands simply pale in comparison with this band. In all honesty, CBT was the reason I was excited to come to this show and I wasn't let down in the least. Both the guitarist and bassist use pitchshifted mics and talked through them between songs. This has the effect (for those of you who don't know CBT) of the unintelligaible moster voices from you nightmares. The crowd was worked up into a frenzey. Of course security wasn't ready for it and body hit the video guy beside me and crumped on the floor. He laid there for a good 30 seconds not moving before the security came over. They picked him up and blood streamed out of his head. I should have probably helped or at leasted taken a picture, but I was tm carina about how she shouldn't listen to anyone about there being too many crowd surfers. not irnoic, but coincidental. so far, dwyer's sold almost as much in 6 hours as he did all last year. maybe the bush tax plan is working out.
