i went to a show at club marquee. all the kids in attendence were friends, all the dancing was pretty well contained and under control. most of all, the kids that did get hit were all friends and there were no problems..... no problems until the bouncers that wasn't good enough. the 2 bouncers there started getting in kids faces, and threatening people with physical harm. We told them everything was fine, everyone there was friends, and there was nothing to worry about. They wouldn't drop it, and things only got worse because of it. Towards the end of the show they had called in 4 or 5 more huge black dudes to come help out with security....by which I mean pick fights with people. They tried to get in everyone's face about everything and the kids there responded by pushing back, smashing bottles, and intentionally dancing into the hole in the wall (that they claimed we made, yet had been there for months) making it way bigger. In the process of trying to stop a friend of mine, who is probably no taller than 5' 6", from dancing 5 huge black guys attempted to wrestle with him. They ended up knocking over their own metal detector. 10 minutes later they did the same thing all over again, knocking over their own metal detector again. When they realized all the kids were sticking together they started threatening kids with weapons. A friend of mine almost got hit with a pool stick from behind while trying to break up an argument with a bouncer. Then they kicked evryone out, punched a 17 year old kid in the face and started threatening people with guns.....by which I mean walknig around with their hands in their pockets yelling about their "peice". It all could have been overted had they been a little more professional, and showed some respect to the bands, and the paying customers.
