Meek Is Murder streams Onward EP on revolver[views:23616][posts:2]_____________________________________ [May 4,2015 2:54pm - the_reverend ""] On the eve of the EP's May 5th release date, Revolver is now streaming Meek Is Murder's Onward EP. Stream this charging beast of a record, right here: http://www.revolvermag.com/news/meek-is-murder-premiere-new-ep-onward.html Onward sees its official release tomorrow, May 5th, as one side of the Onward/Into the Sun LP on Rising Pulse Records (Candiria, Spylacopa). On the other side is Meek's 2011 EP, Into the Sun Where It Falls Off the Sky, available digital-only until now. Onward was recorded/mixed by Kevin Bernsten (Full of Hell, Old Wounds). Into the Sun... was recorded/mixed by Kevin Antreassian (East of the Wall, Gridlink). Both were mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan). Order the Onward/Into the Sun LP in three color vinyl options from Rising Pulse, here! From Brooklyn, New York, Meek Is Murder is a "chaos-core" power trio whose drummer Frank Godla also mans the throne for Enabler and whose vocalist/guitarist Mike Keller is a former member of The Red Chord. Over the course of six releases (and many shows) in the past six years, they have honed their style: a precarious balance of precision/shred and primitivism/recklessness/driving-straight-off-a-cliff. Meek Is Murder and Enabler hit the road in June for a US/Canada tour, with Godla drumming for both bands. |
