Forgotten Massachusetts Black Metal band[views:2558][posts:7]____________________________________ [Jan 12,2014 9:20pm - Anonymous ""] Sometime around 2000 while my older sister was a park ranger on one of the Boston Harbor islands she made friends with someone, I think his name might have been Connor, who gave her a tape of his music. "He said he makes 'black metal', he said it's like Death Metal but even scarier or something." I had never even heard the term before at that time, but was just getting into punk/metal so she handed it over to me to listen to. My memory of this is so vague I can't clearly remember anything about it. As well as I can recall the insert had a crude drawing of some kind of demon, the name may have been something like "Temple of the Black Acid God". To my ears then the music just sounded like whitenoise but it could have been some uber-raw cult masterpiece for all I know. When I started getting interested in BM years later I asked her about it but she lost contact with the guy and I couldn't find it anywhere in our family home. That ringing any bells for anybody? |
