John Maus - A Collection of Rarites and Previously unreleased material Port St. Willow - Holiday
Slag - do you know of anything else kind of like Trust that I might dig?
Mein Goat - There really isn't a lot out there with the same girth as TRUST. The only couple of acts that are putting or were putting out music in the similar vein would be fucks like Ladytron, Blouse and Cold Cave. There is a bunch of shitty german EBM out there as well, but it sucks. You might do yourself a favor and check out John Maus as well... it's like Joy Division dogplowed Nick Cave through a Fisher Price "My first tape player" bullshit. The dude from TRUST also has a side project with some broad called AUSTRA. It's not bad, but it is not TRUST.
And such girth!!! Love me some Ladytron. Trust definitely scratches that same itch but it also has that perv-factor that Scorpion Violente overwhelmed me with. I've been digging on the "Valerie collective" stuff (College, Electric Youth, Futurecop) and shit like White Ring, Mitch Murder, Miami Nights 1984, Lazerhawk and the grand masters Daniele Baldelli and Beppe Loda. Never gets old. Speaking of which, Grace Jones "Warm Leatherette" is the pussycat's meow. She indulged in kilos of joyous powders with Baldelli at Baia Degli Angeli and it shows. Not sure what of this I've mentioned enforce and plenty of it isn't 2012 but I smoke a lot of grass. Also, Spaceghostpurrp is phat as fuck and that Nicolas Jaar track with Demi and Bruce's daughter, Scout, has been dampening the loins of late. As has Frank Ocean. Still haven't got around to checking out some recommendations I've gotten like Purity Ring, Die Selektion, Vatican Shadow, Lust for youth, Movie Star Junkies and Drexciya. John Maus is goin to the top o that list, though!
