I know its a natural reaction to compare Burzum now to Burzum then, but really guys? How much have any of you changed in the past 5 years living in your own homes? How many years did Varg spend locked up? And in the meantime, music took its own twists and turns and how much of that was he even exposed to? I don't know what jail is like in Norway, but if he legitimately went all that time without the flood of shit music all the rest of us had to endure... I don't know, I guess its just interesting to hear what direction a person would take without all that external influence. It isn't realistic to hope that he'd still be doing the same thing and I, for one, am glad for that simple fact. |
