I just think that he has (and I have never said this about a man before) an absolutely beautiful voice and a really great sense of harmony and structure. It isn't really an alarm clock metal voice, cause when he reaches for those high notes his tone doesn't really get brighter, and he does an awesome job of disguising his falsetto so it basically sounds like his normal register. Also, he has that great tremelo technique (not a vibrato like most metal singers) and he knows exactly where to throw it in so as not to overdo it. That's why he is my favorite singer. |
