This is a very simple concept which some members of this site seem to be unable to grasp at any length. Petrychor aims for a "whitenoise" effect like they've discussed in their recent interview. They never ever intended for their music to have a refined sound ala Agalloch (not knocking Agalloch, they're great at what they do), so treat it as such, take it or leave it, but if you need mega-production black metal don't start barking up the wrong tree.[/QUOTE]
