I wanna consolidate and save some greenbacks, I'm thinking I'll hook up the digital receiver for network stuff, get a Tivo to DVR shows when my wife is at school/3 year old is up watching Finding Nemo for the billionth time, and just use Netflix and other streaming sources for anything else. I play 25 bucks a month (50 bucks split with my roommate) for 20d/2u from RCN and 8 bucks for streaming Netflix. Works great unless you have a specific series you like to watch that's on the television. And in that case, THE INTERNET. |

When ostelio goes back to full daycare next year, I'm probably going to have to cancel it. Until then, I'm probably going to go to comcast and if I want to get $99 a year, I need to get the phone too. Lame! |

Some hackers have found ways to get the ClearQAM channels from broadcast digital cable tv here I doubt I could get the signal from Fort Madison though. |
