I'm in the process of ressurecting Adrenaline Zone(Possible name change)[views:4508][posts:17]_________________________________ [Feb 23,2011 7:55am - reimroc ""] For those who don't remember that fuckwin establishment it was a LAN center in Harvard Square. Where you pay a small fee to use the PCs and consoles to play alone or with other people. Massachusetts has zero lan centers(unless you count iGames in Nashua) and I'm planning on changing that. For those of you that enjoy LAN Parties once set up in a soon-to-be announced location(in the boston area) there will be plenty to attend both casual and competitive. I'm already in the process of scheduling up both some casual fun parties and pay to play(usually a 5-15k 1st place prize) competitions for various games. So for those that care keep praying for everything to go smoothly because I've been trying to do this since AZ closed. Also I hope you won't mind seeing johnny wendal's face everywhere because hes investing and I need to plug his shit by putting up some posters, using some of his mouse/keyboards etc etc tl;dr: nerds will have a place to do nerd stuff together again |

_________________________________ [Feb 23,2011 8:31am - reimroc ""] Well sort of. There are still plenty of lans around for both consoles and computers. Just nothing regional. |

It was located in Havard Square Cambridge mass right on Brattle St. no more than maybe 100 yards from the T station. The owners moved to AZ and are opening their own line of lan centers under the Adrenaline Zone name which is why the name may be different for this one. I have been trying to contact them to see if I could use the name since the original reason why they couldn't keep it open was the fact that they were 3000 miles away and only had a friend managing it....poorly while they weren't here. |

_________________________________ [Feb 23,2011 9:05am - reimroc ""] well the plan is to have the place open from 11-11 so people can come in and play whatever the hell they want either online or off. the parties and competitions are just icing on the cake. |

So many fond memories at Cybersmith. Buying hardware at the bar, epic. I was never old enough to find out, did the bar actually serve booze? Also, this Adrenaline Zone, do want. |

Business partership is a possibility. Right now like I said I'm shopping for a loan, researching retail/office spaces and collecting donations from all my buddies i used to compete with. |

PAX East three day passes are sold out, sucks. Me and a dude from my platoon where talking about using our VA loans to open a LAN center. I'm looking into how to go about getting a VA loan at the moment, just to know in general. |
