My old band The Takers did a short US tour with Oxbow in November of 2001 and I have to say they were absolutely the nicest, warmest, kindest, and friendliest guys.
Their performances, however, scared the living shit out of me.
Fireside Bowl, Chicago: there's Eugene, clad only in his underpants, smearing lipstick on his face screaming "AND GOD HATES YOU BECAUSE GOD HATES FOOLS!" This literally left me feeling as if I had walked in on my parents doing 6-9.
