{instruction} Best FREE lead guitar lesson site???[views:5554][posts:12]__________________________________________ [Sep 8,2010 1:37pm - BbPguitarist_nli ""] Does such a site exist? I'm looking to spruce up on my lead skills... (sick of just focusing on rhythm...) :BANGHEAD: |
___________________________________ [Sep 8,2010 1:39pm - arilliusbm ""] http://www.myspace.com/sainttosinneronline email them. The guitar player is sick. |

_______________________________________ [Sep 8,2010 6:28pm - DomesticTerror ""] just go on ebay and pick up used tab books for cheap. start with early Hammet and Adrian Smith/Dave Murray. grab some EVH too. if you can get down the solos to Mean Street then you've got every Trey Azagthoth trick in your pocket. 2 rules: 1. bends and vibrato are your best friends. 2. no Kerry King noodling. and what goat said^^^ |
___________________________________________ [Sep 9,2010 12:23pm - BbPguitarist_nli ""] thanks for the help, guys. and, NO, I shan't be noodling like the decrepit Kerry King. Trey is one of my heroes, I'll roll down that path... |

_____________________________________ [Sep 9,2010 6:32pm - ArrowHeadNLI ""] As for free lesson sites, there's a million bajillion and one. More important is to decide what specific technique you want to go after, then search the multitude of sites for THAT. Currently, I dig Ultimate Guitar, the Lesson Loft at the Harmony Central forums, Chops From Hell is a great site, but there's a lot of broken links and missing audio/video files these days. There's bunches more too, google is your friend. If you suck though, I still recommend a teacher so you don't teach yourself bad habits or something downright wrong. |
