Band seeks GUITARIST:[views:1809][posts:8]_______________________________________________________ [Jul 29,2010 11:57am - Mandolinnightswithjerryrice ""] We are looking for a guitarist, have been a band for around a year did a quick ep played some shows and then took time off to record a proper release (which we're in the middle of). We have huge ambition for this and are going for it 100%. We are a very open minded "rock" band that I would call punk..but my definition of punk is just simply playing from the heart regardless of surroundings so it may not sound like your "punk". We are extremely dedicated and if you don't quite have what it takes material wise we'll make it happen..we have a full guitar rig for you...a van for transportation...and even a room available! Below are some basic track instrumentals we're in the middle of (no vocals or overdubs yet so if you hear any awkward parts with just bass no guitar you know whats up). You can call us at 508-446-3792. We practice in Rhode Island right now but we're open to possibly moving if you've got something better or know of something better? http://www.mediafire.com/?dykb3ajulyp8an9 Track 1 http://www.mediafire.com/?3i8b2bbz0z5tyzu Track 2 http://www.mediafire.com/?qn3kskczeriyes9 Track 3 http://www.mediafire.com/?cxy4cvsi6pdpl0p Track 4 http://www.mediafire.com/?ewqo0s7220rwhv9 Track 5 |

It's just that i know what it's like not being totally happy with a rehearsal room.. having a comfortable environment, with 24 hour access, and good "neighbors" make practicing an easier and enjoyable thing to do. Because trying to keep your bands chops tight and snazzy while playing in a should-be-condemned shithole, that you can't even take a comfortable dump in, usually doesn't work. Your band will end up breaking up due to lack of motivation and the fear of infection from other practice buildings. NOT WITH THE SOUND MUSEUM.... i know that sounds silly, but it's true. Sure, i work for the company now, but i've played in almost a dozen different practice rooms in all different buildings. The 5 years i spent in sound museums before i started working there were the BEST years of my playing, i played more than i ever had, and i felt like my practice room was my little escape from the real world. Moral - go with Sound Museum, we are awesome! |
