Has anyone seen Nile as of late with their new awesome phenom drummer? I'd be surprised to hear if they aren't good with him.
i saw Nile when they played at the Palladium last, it was killer. George Kollias is a monster on the kit, they sounded great. they are one of those bands that i don't expect to have flawless sound, there is just too much going on, but i had no complaints last time even at the Palladium. they are one of my favorites so it helps knowing the songs really well. and being drunk. i had my foot on the stage and kept kicking Karl Sanders' equipment. oops.
No complaints? I'd go farther and say that they had the best sound at the palladium i've ever heard. (only since "the Annihilation" tour.... or "after Kolias") I've been informed that they bring there own entire sound crew with them to every show.... i wanna do that.
Their entire sound crew consists of one guy, the dude on the last Morbid Angel cd saying "Pete can I hear your kick drum please."
