If you're in times square, johns pizzeria is a good place for pizza. They also have a spot on the lower east side on bleeker which is just as good, if not better. Chinatown ice cream factory is worth a stop. They make all of the ice cream there and some flavors are fucked up. Katz's deli on Houston st. could be considered a tourist trap, but I make it a point to always stop there for a tongue and liver sandwich with spicy mustard and onions. Just be sure to tip the meat cutter before ordering and they stuff the shit out of your sandwich. And try to know what you want prior to walking in. It could be intimidating to the first timer. |
