Get some great software (free if you know the right scummy people), but some dual zoned pads, cymbals, and an alesis trigger IO to trigger the samples on your computer. You'll probably end up spending a little under $500 that way. I have the alesis USB pro kit. Paid $650 at music unlimited. I added on 2 more cymbals I got used for around $100 (included a shit ton of cables and stuff too) and now my electronic kit is bigger than my actual acoustic kit. The other bonus is I can use all my drum software. Superior, All my EZdrummer kits, BFD, etc..... with it. You're not limited to what comes in the module, since there IS no module. [/QUOTE]
