High On Fire: Snakes for the Divine[views:3399][posts:6]_____________________________________ [Apr 28,2010 3:25pm - The_Rooster ""] Thoughts? Songs are every bit as awesome as I'd hoped. The MASSIVE riffs that I've come to expect from Matt Pike are abundant here. The production leaves much to be desired though. Weak drum sounds, lacks the space and depth of the previous 2. |

_____________________________________________ [Apr 28,2010 5:03pm - dontlivefastjustdie ""] i dig it. was more of a grower for me but i think i honestly care for it more than their other material, maybe i need to go back and give the earlier stuff another chance. i read somewhere that they were listening to a lot of faster jams during the writing process (slayer etc.) and so it came out that way... i think jeff matz wrote a good bit of the album as well |
