It's totally okay for you to feel that way because there are always going to be people that know what good photography is and pay top dollar for it...Bill Gates is still going to be the richest man in the world despite never having laid a hand on a log or a jackhammer. The 'photographer' in this video has no idea what she's talking about shouldn't even be at the level of charging $1300, maybe $300 at most. Sadly, a lot of people like you do not know what good photography IS and get ripped off in the end. Some people probably don't even realize it. Similar to people who only listen to music on the radio and have no idea what good music is. ...and I'd like to see your wedding photos, just to see what $700 got you. |

Looks like one shot they showed was indoors and their eyes had no catch lights (i.e. they look dead). The shot of them standing next to a tree looks passable at best but the bride looks almost black (underexposed). |

If they were, they should have shown the shittiest pictures and not the best. Also, you don't need to be an expert at gear to be an excellent photographer. my example is pia who takes some frustratingly awesome photos, but has really not clue about her gear. I do question the gear that they brought and the arguments they made, but a good photographer could work with that equipment. |
