I saw Tool live at Ozzfest '98, and your drumming was AT LEAST as good if not better, a real highlight of the night. Personally, I'm not as big a fan of their albums as many others because it's very minimalist on the guitar front, and certain songs just got way too much radio play for my taste, but Tool's drum parts really grab you when played live in the way they lead and shape the song, and you nailed them to a tee. Thanks to Tom for putting on such a great show, to Tony for singing, to Mike for doing sound, to Josh for recording everything, and to all of the bands. A special thanks also goes out to marijuana, without whom this show would not have been possible.
I was at that same show. It was incredible. They were still touring for Eanima at that point. (same album we played.) REALLY nice for you to say, but i was definitely not better than him live. I think I was pretty close on all the parts, and that's good enough.
