It's not really a transparent enough pedal to use as a boost. But honestly, I mostly just use the clean channel and second gain stage of the clean channel with the OCD at about 50% drive on High Peak. When I really want to get ignorant, I throw on the high gain channel. The mod to invert the phase of that channel pulled a lot of the gain out of it. Even still, it is more gain than I need for this. |
