It has been falsely stated on this site and a few others that the management of the club was responsible without reason and provocation for closing the show early, which is a total fabrication! The reason the show ended early was the result of the promoter from Sin Promotions reneging on the original deal. It is true that she gave the original deposit, however, when it came time to pay the balance the promoter repeatedly refused even though she was repeatedly approached management throughout the night. This can be verified by countless patrons and witnesses (band members, customers, detail officers, ect.). The promoter had already collected her money and so obviously no longer felt the need to fulfill the remainder of the agreement. The Shamrock has hosted thousands of bands over their long history without ant incident and will continue to do so. It has never had any problems with any promoters or bands. Furthermore the management wants to make it clear the problem was with Sin Productions not Sick Productions. Although Co-Promoters Sick Productions did not know of the problem until it was to late to rectify it. The Shamrock found the representative of Sick Productions to be totally professional and looks forward to working with her in the future. Furthermore, all bands are invited to call the shamrock and book shows directly through the club. If anyone connected to the event has any questions you are invited to call the club or come down in person , someone from management will be glad to answer and all questions. God Bless The Blue Shamrock Management.
