Hints On Repairing Amp Head[views:6013][posts:13]________________________________________ [Jul 25,2009 8:22pm - FlightlessBird ""] Hey RTTP- I have a Fender Showman Tube Amplifier that is currently broken. It's an older one, built in 1964. [img] It broke about 1 year ago and I've forgotten about getting it fixed. One day I turned it on and nothing turned on- even when I plugged in nothing happened(so it's not just the light). I'm by no means one for gear smarts, so I'd like to know if any of you have hints about what might be wrong, or if you know anyone near the Winchendon/Gardner area that could fix it. I love this thing, and I'd love to play it again. Hope you guys can help. Thanks all! |

It was just the switch. I haven't actually fixed it yet haha. It could be a whole slew of things though so check that first. |

It stopped working completely.... and i soldered at my job every day, just not in amps. |

Haha, yeah dude. Not too sharp with these things. I'm leaving the thing alone for now. Thanks for the pointers all! |

__________________________________________ [Jul 25,2009 10:17pm - BoarcorpseJimbo ""] good idea Martins, it's not like he can hurt anything replacing a fuse. |
