What impresses me most about guys like this, is that they don't hit as hard as most metal drummers, but they hit consistently and they hit properly so that the drums sound big regardless. That's just good technique. Some drummer put more emphasis on that aspect of their playing, which in some cases results in a less exciting sound, but more proficient playing.[/QUOTE]
