Stolen equipment dissapressh[views:1815][posts:12]_____________________________________ [Jul 13,2009 10:50pm - immortal13 ""] Last night I played I progressions Lounge in Brockton, MA. While we were packing up, I noticed my little bin full of cables, pedals, and other small things was missing. We checked the venue and parking lot over and over, but couldn't find anything. Pretty sure it was stolen. Leave it to fucking Brockton to have something like this happen. Fucking gaaaaay. |

Except that depending what you had in there it could easily cost as much to replace a bunch of cables and pedals as it could an amp. Here's hoping it turns up. |

Our singer lost his guitar once when he was playing with his other band. Figured it was stolen. He still owed money on it and everything. Well they played another show at the same venue a couple months later and found his guitar in a back room. It was just before they went over to Europe so he was siked to have it back. And then everyone got blowjobs. Def give the venue a call. Good chance someone thought it belonged to the venue and put it aside somewhere. |

I had a duffle bag full of cables, mics and pedals grow legs and walk off at a show in Lowell. I was able to get most of my money back without hassel from my insurance company. BTW, sorry to hear that your gear was stolen. I had a pedal board walk off at the Living Room. I am pretty sure I know which band did it, but no way to prove. That was before I got insurance. |

__________________________________________ [Jul 14,2009 12:32pm - metal_church101 ""] The insurance I have is "commercial insurance" I constantly provide an updated list to my carrier, this is all itemized and broken down by description. I pay $160 a year to insure something like $11,000 worth of gear. It's an Inland/Marine Policy. |
___________________________________ [Jul 14,2009 12:33pm - Eli_hhcb ""] damn, thats really not bad. i'll look into it. |
__________________________________________ [Jul 14,2009 12:42pm - metal_church101 ""] Yeah. It definitely helps me sleep easier at night (besides touching myself.) It is "commercial" insurance. Coming in with the itemized list, photos of the gear and what not shows that you mean business. That helped me (I certainly fooled them.) :duffbeer: |
