CIA supposedly put 400 Million into Iran Riots[views:3264][posts:54]_____________________________________ [Jun 22,2009 11:00am - arilliusbm ""] Not the most credible source on the internet but I have no doubt in my mind that the CIA is involved with this somehow. _____________________________________ [Jun 22,2009 11:42am - arilliusbm ""] If this is indeed true, can you imagine the chaos that would ensue when it is proven we help fund/cause the rigged election and riots? Not sure if any of you guys have seen Zeitgeist II, but this is a perfect example of what the "economic hitmen" would do. I would NOT be surprised if somebody gets assassuinated during this stint. |

The "rioting" stories are from the Iranian news sources still allowed to broadcast. Wonder why they're still allowed to broadcast? The stories leaking through the internet shut-downs tell a very different tale. One particularly amazing one was how the riot police busted into a dorm room full of SLEEPING WOMEN (rioters according to the news) and beat them all within an inch of their life, stopping only to destroy their books. |

_____________________________________ [Jun 22,2009 12:14pm - arilliusbm ""] Pamarino, the more the Iranian authority uses violence, the more the protestors will use violence. Throwing rocks at the police doesn't count as "peacefully" anymore. Looking past the mass-media and watching the videos that leaked out on the internet, I think it's safe to assume it's not a peaceful protest anymore. |
____________________________________________ [Jun 22,2009 12:15pm - MikeofDecrepitude ""] Really? They supplied arms to the Mujaheddin faction to fight against the Soviet invasion, which was a success for them. Unless you're one of those die-hard U.S. fanatics that subscribes to occam's razor and doesn't think the U.S. had any involvement in the bombing of the twin towers, and used their one time allies as perfect scapegoats, well, I guess they did fail. |
______________________________ [Jun 22,2009 12:15pm - pam ""] Um, I am not getting news from mass media, sweet heart. And when you FIGHT BACK against violence with violence, it is not a fucking riot. |

This is going to last a long time... that is, unless someone gets assassinated or whathaveyou. I think we're witnessing the end of Iran's current form of government. They are not only going against the "law" but also defying a word of allah, which is a big no-no in the Arabic world. It's mostly the young Iranian crowd that is participating in this. It's western influence blending with Eastern influence. It's only going to get worse |

The accusations "are an obvious attempt to distract people from what is truly taking place within Iran's borders," Obama said. "This tired strategy of using old tensions to scapegoat other countries won't work anymore in Iran. This is not about the United States and the West; this is about the people of Iran and the future that they -- and only they -- will choose." Couldn't disagree with you more, buddy. |

So the CIA threw around a bunch of money to get Iranians fired up about their election being blatantly rigged? No huge surprise. This seems the consensus, blatant or otherwise, of many first hand accounts of Iraq I've read. And if the CIA is involved in political unrest in the Middle East? Fuck yeah, keep it going. There is only good that can come out of unrest in Iran - those in power must step carefully or the world will look at them as they do North Korea. |

____________________________________ [Jun 23,2009 2:32pm - arilliusbm ""] but you have to understand that this political unrest is ultimately related to the hegemonic state of America. We're expanding our empire by squeezing through the cracks and destroying other countries within. They end up taking the bait, we move our big corporations in, use their oil and make dough. It's an alternative way to take over a country without using military force. We're going to try to do it to every country we can; maybe then people will start to accept the NWO theories as truth. |
_________________________________ [Jun 23,2009 3:00pm - darkwor ""] The Middle East sold their soul to the westernizing demons long ago. Look at Dubai - the worst example of "westernization" and excess in the entire world, and look where it is. Islam leaders preach from their mouths and collect money with their hands. Iranians delivered a huge blow to the credibility of conservative Islam in government. This needed to happen, period. This has nothing to do with corporations (of which the Middle East has many, they do not need our help with that), but people being fed up with their broken government. If the CIA had anything to do with it or not, it would have happened. (I didn't read the article, sources matter to me) I don't buy into any NWO bullshit (I'm not really a 'conspiracy theorist' in general, call me biased) - the auto industry is proof that governments have power but don't know what to do with it. It falls on the fallibility of the indivudual. The world is indeed watching Tehran. Just like they watch us. I think this is a critical time for Iran, a modern French revolution, and they need to follow through. |
____________________________________ [Jun 23,2009 3:07pm - arilliusbm ""] No doubt this was bound to happen. I heard a stat that over 65% of Iranians today are 35 or below. It's like an "out with the old, in with the new" type situation. The people want to be free, regardless if we meddled in their affairs (which we did). There is no better current example of a "revolution" than what quite possibly might happen to Iran within the next couple weeks, months, etc. You know social and political unrest will be widespread if they remain as they were. And about the NWO - its idea has never been confirmed (after all, it's a conspiracy theory) but the whole concept of it makes complete sense, and I think it was the elite bankers - the true elite - really want to happen at some point. Either way you look at it, years from now when we focus more time and energy into space exploration, the NWO is bound to happen at some point. It only makes sense.. |
