I know for huge tours like the upcoming Lamb Of God, they are playing a date at both and Killswitch/Dragonforce did it back when it was the Avalon. But it would be a real shame to lose the Palladium, for so many reasons. Kinda sounds corny, but I have so many memories of the Palladium, and it is my favorite place to see a concert. You could argue that you lose some of the crisp sound that the House of Blues might offer, but I feel like the Palladium has more character to it if that makes sense. Sorry for the ramble. Somewhat sidenote - the House Of Blues would pretty much NEVER be able to accomodate something like the Metal and Hardcore festival... |

It has a much spacier sound; they took a few risks and tried something different. There's a couple of the tunes on their myspace if you want a sample. |
