just because the "counter culture" as it were, in its old age, has taken on some of the distasteful elements of the establishment, does not necessarily mean that the establishment is cool or somehow revolutionary yea, liberalism kinda sucks, but conservatism sucks way more
I don't know if I believe in the establishment. I believe in reality, and realistic solutions; logical solutions. I'm probably a mix of left (green) and right (conservative values), but I wouldn't identify with either side as currently defined. I think the Republicans are more realistic however. Mostly, I am anti-liberal, because liberalism is a wave of illusion that takes down societies and converts them into third world shitholes with a simple device: Inversion of cause-effect reasoning by arguing from the individual to the goal, under the guise of "free choice." It's a giant scam. It sounds good and it seems to have good ideas, until you see how those fail in reality. Welfare? 150 years of pissing away wealth. Freedom? Precursor to social failure. But it sounds good. Like advertisements, lies and junk food. I prefer reality.
