I smoked moderately (like a pack every two weeks) till around '94.
my then-guitarist saw me buy a pack of smokes at the corner store and told me she didn't know I wanted to fuckin' die.
I threw the unopened pack into the trashcan outside and haven't smoked since . . .
for some it's harder to quit though, I empathize. I'm like that with booze 'cos I got the alchie gene from my dad.
