im still dumbfounded by all this "hybrid" talk. These car companies are passing off these cars with "OH MY GOD 40+ MPG" as being revolutionary and new. I'm not to young to remember my parents late 70's era VW rabbit that got over 60MPG. That's 40 year old technology. What the hell is going on right now? We should be driving 400 horse, 12 cylinder super cars that get over 100mpg. But instead we brag to each other about our tiny little hybrids that get a miracle 35mpg. Of course i drive an exploder and get 16mpg so i have no room to complain but still....a tiny car should get good gas milage. Rev does the car you drive come in a non-hybrid version? I bet it gets like 32mpg which is freakin stupid because tiny non-hybrids should be getting at least 50 while a hybrid version should be up in the 70's. It just seems so stupid that people go ape shit for a car that gets anything higher than 30mpg when if cars were build right and the technology advances that i'm sure we've had were actually put into cars, i'm sure we'd have 100+ MPG by now.
