Ok, i let most of wes anderson's movies, but not this one. It was so dull it was rediculas. Not even dull with an incredably moving plot or anything. just dull. Now i understand why owen wilson tried to kill himself right after making this movie. Because it was about the worst movie he's ever made. anyone who doesnt want to know plot points from the movie do not read any more of this post. When they all try to save the drowning kids in the river and one of them dies, they barely even bat an eye?! I mean, yes, they do show remorse about it, and do attend the funeral, but they didnt even get visably upset. It's not like they missed their bus, the fucking kid died. Oh well, i guess EVERY movie wes anderson makes isnt gonna rock as hard as life aquatic or the royal tenenbaums... although you do see natalie portman's ass. Flat as it is, it's still nice. |
