THY WILL BE DONE official signs to stillborn[views:9927][posts:28]______________________________________ [Sep 28,2007 2:49pm - the_reverend ""] STILLBORN RECORDS OFFICIALLY SIGNS THY WILL BE DONE. Providence, Rhode Island based Thy Will Be Done has officially signed with Stillborn Records and is set to release their debut full length Was And Is To Come on October 23, 2007. The release marks the first collaboration between the Providence outfit and Stillborn Records, and will be distributed nationally through Caroline Records/EMI. Completed in early 2007, Was And Is To Come features a guest vocal appearance by Jesse David Leach of Seemless, was produced, engineered and mixed by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Behemoth, 3 Inches of Blood) with Jamey Jasta as Executive Producer. Encompassing various facets of the metal spectrum, Was And Is To Come is marked with a plethora of core influences that range from vintage Sepultura and Carcass, to the southern rock sludgy vibe of Crowbar. Heralded by Metal Edge Magazine as "38 minutes of resistance to current metal trends," and tagged "the best thing to come out of the East Coast in a long time" by Ruin Magazine, Thy Will Be Done has already used their sound to wow critics and garner press support in some of the most respected national and local publications. Throughout the years Thy Will Be Done has provided support for national acts such as the Misfits, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, and Converge. As the release draws near, Thy Will Be Done is set to hit the road and plans to spend the rest of this year and much of 2008 touring in support of Was And Is To Come. |

________________________________ [Oct 6,2007 10:07am - do9rk ""] Their(T.W.B.D)- new CD was produced by Zeuss & Jamey Jasta, Their guitarist works for Zeuss, so it worked out for them. I saw them once, they could easily blend in with one of the many, throw away, 2nd stage, Ozzfest bands. Hey more power to them, but, all I can say is, "..jump, jump, jump up, You motherfuckers!!!!" |

DROID are Munkey's band AND they got the Korn/Family Values tour. Why? Because one of the band's members is sleeping with Jonathan Davis' sister... I think the guitarist has worked with Zuess, but wasn't he in another band too? I guess we will see if your theory is true... give it some time. |

__________________________________ [Oct 6,2009 8:06pm - dreadkill ""] FuckIsMySignature said:i really want to argue against that... but... i ... cant. fuck.there's a hole in the argument against bands playing a trendy style then moving on to something better. alice in chains and pantera started off as hair bands then evolved into what they became known and acclaimed for. i know pantera's credibility is up for debate on this site, but i think AIC is pretty much universally accepted here. the devildriver effect is actually when a band hops from a dying trend to a rising trend, i.e. numetal to metalcore. AIC went from a trend to something more unique, and while pantera went for the exhorder sound, it wasn't really a new trend. |
