Jews aren't traditionally allowed to be burnt, Jewish law states that bodies have to be washed, wrapped in linens, buried the same day, and no coffin. many Israeli's feel the American spirit of "how come I can't do things my way" so some dude opened a place for cremation for Jews who feel like getting cremated rather than be buried. The place was kept secret but it was burnt down, they suspect arson. read the article if you are interested, that is the very watered down gist of it. |
