I liked it anyway. i watching it with my parents and they were talking through the whole thing and bitching about how they couldnt understand the british accents... but like i said i'm gonna watch it again on my own after seeing such a huge influx of positive reviews on here. from what i watched though... i wasnt impressed. |

The fact that the car scene in the forest and the battle scene are basically one take each is staggering. I know they had to use a tricked out, modified car to pull off the first one, and hopefully there will be some cool footage on the DVD. The plot (it's explained sufficiently, but it's thin to the point of non-existence, but Cuaron has never been one to tell a complete story) and acting is pretty rough, though, and Juliane Moore gives one of her worst performances (and that is saying a lot) |
