Hey, you play bass for Ascendancy right? If not, ignore this and sorry.

I noticed your Warlock bass with the old-school widow headstock at All Asia a couple of weeks ago. I'm looking for a vintage Rich now and I was sweating that bass. What are the specs? Where'd you get it? Thanks.

He got it from a friend of our drummer, I think it's 10 years old or something. That's all I remember about it, Josh (NsV) might be able to tell you a little more by looking it over.

Your drummer wouldn't happen to know anyone else with a vintage Rich bass for sale, would he?

If it's hot pink and from the 80s i'm almost tempted. But not really because i would feel way too gay.

Having a pink vintage rich would be full throttle scumbag factor though. I think CW would have to start playing Crue covers exclusively. Or at least I would play Crue covers, smoke Newport menthols, and shout obscenities while Dave and Phil tried to play our songs.

What's up Anthony? My bass is 10 years old. I believe it was the last year they made those kind of headstocks, which is cool cause the newer Warlock heads are kinda cliche. I got passive pickups and 24 frets. I only have a volume and a tone switch as well which is the only thing I'd change, but still I like the older warmer tone it puts out, vs my 97 Fender P-Standard. I'm planning on ripping out the frets on the fender, putting in a new nut, maybe new pickups, and maybe a new neck. Anyways I've always wanted a Warlock Bass and I finally found this one, and it's working out quite well. Do you or know anyone who's selling a 5-String? My little sister wants one of your cds.

That sounds like a lot of work on that Fender, but there's no better way to learn than by doing I guess, plus its a lot of fun. The fretless Steve Digiorgio used with Death was a home-customized Fender too.

That BC Rich rules, and the old school Widow headstock definitely blows away the current Warlock headstocks. I wouldn't touch the newer (non custom) Rich basses with a ten foot pole, though.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced 5 string, I strongly suggest the bass I play, the ESP F205. Digiorgio plays one of those and also a custom fretless version of it, and you're really not going to get more for your money unless you plan on spending alot.

Tell your little sister to come to All Asia on Jan. 11th, as we will be releasing our new 3 song ep then.
