hung_to_bleed said:
If veganism is so healthy that why are most of them skinnier than an anorexic run way model? We have canine teeth for a reason and that reason is not to chew bark and acorns.
The reason most of the vegans you see are stick figures is because most of the vegans around who wear it on their sleeves are indie/emo/whatever kids that have to be skinny to fit into their girl pants. It has nothing to do with veganism, and I'm certainly not skinny. www.veganbodybuilding.com We don't have canine teeth like lions, our teeth are made to eat mostly plantlife, try tearing something apart with just your mouth. Our digestive system isn't really built to handle raw meet like natural carnivores either, that's why people who eat raw meat get sick and die. We are defintiely capable omnivores, but that doesn't mean we aren't designed to eat a ton of plant-based food and it doesn't mean we are designed to eat nearly as much meat as we do. Also, who's eating acorns and bark?
