Recomend a ripping program[views:1613][posts:11]__________________________________ [Nov 10,2006 1:57pm - Niccolai ""] I've been using windows media to burn my CDs to my computrer, but it's a pain in the ass because it names every song/cd 'unknown artist' than I haveto go and manually rename everything. I want something that will recognize the album and rip it accordingly. also, windows media rips as WMAs. I want something that will rip to MP3. Also, it's got to be freeware. |

It's freeware, and is very versitile. You can rename, tag, look up CDDB shit, all sorts of amazing crap. http://www.tucows.com/preview/341611 I usually use it to take a bunch of mp3s, look up the CDDB info and add it to the tags, then I have it rename the files based on the tags, then I alter a couple things and have it change the tags once again. Lots of automation in that program, too. ....tags |

__________________________________ [Nov 10,2006 9:05pm - DeRtOxIa ""] yeah i started using Itunes but was pissed because not all my mp3s were named right so i had just a whole bunch of random mp3's that weren't organized by album or band or anything. Then i found these 2 programs. One automatically updated the ID3 tags sort of similar to that tagscanner thing and this other downloaded all the album art. |
