Dragonforce, All That Remains, Horse The Band at Palladium last night[views:3103][posts:6]____________________________________________ [Sep 29,2006 3:22pm - ConquerTheBaphomet ""] Horse The Band: I showed up in the middle of their set. The vocals were hard to hear and pretty shitty anyway. Other than that the show wasn't horrible. All That Remains: They played an amazing show. Basically, all the crowd participation songs were played but were played well. Phil's vocals were right on and the solos were great. Their new drummer is fucking sick. So much faster and more creative than Michael Bartlett. Overall their set was a great segue to Dragonforce. Dragonforce: The tech crew brought out a clock that counted down from like 2 or 3 minutes and that got the crowd hyped. Everyone was counting down and then when the clock hit zero, Dragonforce exploded on stage. I can't remember what song they played first but it got the crowd moving. Solos were amazing as expected. Vocals were cool but not anything spectacular. I don't like their drummer. He's too boring and plays the same beats to every song. BUT it was still an awesome show. Probably one of the best I've ever been to. |

| __________________________________ [Sep 29,2006 5:45pm - Cecchini ""] amazing solos are something i dont expect from dragonforce. all their shit is sloppy and pretty easy. they just run up and down scales and their sweeps sound like absolute shit. i saw them at ozzfest and they played more sloppy than a bunch of 15 year olds at their first gig. i went to this show just to see all that remains and i left. some dude outside even gave me and my friend a free ticket so we got in even cheaper haha. |
