i Just bought a psp

and it turns out to be a fucking 2.01 which means i can't download any of the games i want. So i'm just gonna return it.
Does anyone know where i could buy a psp thats a 1.0 or 1.5?

you should have done some research first. All it takes is about 5 mins of you're time to find out that they don't sell those anywhere. And besides, 1.0 or 1.5 is worthless unless all you plan on doing with your psp is play emulators and roms - all the new games come with 2.0 + updates and it is required that you update to play them. Try ebay for one of the old ones, you might have some luck.

all plan on doing is playing roms.
i wouldn't mind a 2.0 or 2.5 because you can at least downgrade those. 2.01 is lame and can't be downgraded.

try to find the 2.5 file on the internet.
I used to have them on my computer as I have upgraded via the psp website multiple times from 1.51 to 2.0, then to 2.5 and so on. I'm sure someone still have the file for 2.5 available. Then if what you say is true, you should be able to downgrade. I never bothered to fuck with mine because I don't want to mess it up for good.

you can't downgrade a 2.01, thats why its a 2.01 and not a 2.0, from what i hear thats the only difference.
