Great crowd, people, etc. Thanks to Box Of Knives for putting this on. It's a very good thing what this place is doing. Basilissk-good melodic black/death metal. They reminded me of Dissection, Opthalamia, Noctuary, mixed with some early thrash riffs. Very metal. TYAG- much better than the old stuff I heard by them, which they were telling me. They were right about the new stuff being better. The guitarist comes up with some great riffing. Pretty original death/grind. Only thing that sucked was when Devin stopped singing, but the music was still interesting. Good meeting you guys, you were fun. Nefarious- Brutal black/death. It's refreshing to see a band like them. Really energetic and gave off a violent vibe. Great band. The demo is cool as well. Hirudinea- I thought we sounded good. We played a new song at the end, and a very chaotic version of Mayhem's Deathcrush in closing. Great time in all. |
