Bands don't usually do that. If a big band wants more money, they usually insist that venues increase their ticket prices rediculously and they start to sell merchandise for way too much money and shit. That is selling out. Metallica's change was gradual. Sure, the black album and load were two very different albums, but there were 5 years between their releases. Musical influences and interests can completely change in that time. I hated all death metal about 2 and a half years ago, now I love lots of it. See what I mean?[/QUOTE]
