[band=MORBID_ANGEL]: the set was long ans packed with older tracks. why are there so many good MA songs. Hell, they didn't even play a lot of my favorites (covenant I'm looking you way..though they played 4 songs from it, I wanted lion's den). morbidly dressed david vincent came out and had two lights pointed up at him. Honestly, I would have rathered trey and the guy from onstrosity have them instead, but whatever. As for live banter, it seems to me that vincent acts like he's still in the genitortures. The guy from monstrosity has been in the band for a long time now so he's awesome (thouh he fit right in front the start). I could never picture him playing monstrosity songs.. I think he'd get bored after running finger trials with trey. the drumming was again punishing for them. OK, when vincent stopped the show and talked to the bouncers and then called them everyone's friend, that ruled. he's trying to win my heart I think. I went up to the balcony to catch the last few songs from their set. from back there, dave's vocals were much better. I really can wait to hear what he sounds like on CD. wonder what it's going to be called. they probably have most of it written by this point. I went down to the floor for world of shit. good stuff.
