Of course the store won't take it back cuz it's been opened.
Don't know about everquest, but with World of Warcraft you can buy game cards almost anywhere that are good for two months at a time. One thing I do know about everquest - I hope you like grinding the same bullshit for hours at a time. Everything is a labor in that game. If you're into shit like that the game is pretty good, but personally I don't have time to spend 8 hours a day just to be able to compete with the other players in my bracket. Try WoW. If you're into mmorpg's it's convenient to have the game cards (I have no credit cards either), and the game is actually pretty good. Way less grinding than other games, and the battlegrounds are a lot of fun. I actually got sick of the questing and grinding and running instances with other people so I stalled my toon out at a low level and just play battlegrounds with him. Just make sure to roll on a PVP server. I wasted 8 months getting my first guy to 40 something just to realize how boring and frustrating a PVE server is. Another suggestion for an mmo is Guildwars. Everyone I know who's played it likes it, and there is no online fee. Also, theres a sequel coming out, and if you have both games you can move your charachters between different worlds.
