the show was in my hometown of derry, at a coffee shop. the weird thing was that I used to go to that same place in highschool. Granted, that shop has changed owners a million times (originally called the pour house and was a drug front), but it's good to see a lot of people in the town of derry having something to do besides getting pregnant. No Reserve: they were pretty good, even with out their bassplayer. like most of the bands they were a little bit hindered cause their music really calls for kids to be dancing to it, which as the signs said, was forbidden at this place. Forever Carved: (formally green street annihilation)for the first song or two, the bass sounded out of place. Maybe I was just standing to close to it. but after that it sounded better. They do a lot of talk-singing which I couldn't really hear. The second to last track they played was pretty awesome and was definitly the best one they played that night. Darken The Sky: again, no mosh. Their sound was so big it was great and totally filled that room. And they played a new song that they wrote just last night. it was really good and I can't wait to hear it again after they practice it some more. I also picked up a copy of the CD for my radio show. Everyone is singing praises about it. never fall: I guess they did this time, cause the drummer didn't show up until after the venue closed. I'll mostlikly be seeing them on the 16th.
