________________________________ [Nov 12,2005 1:30pm - xmikex ""] Pale Horse is without a doubt the most underrated band in New England. One of the few newer hardcore bands around here that care enough not to play just stupid cookie cutter hardcore. |
______________________________________ [Nov 12,2005 2:29pm - the_reverend ""] I 100% agree with that statment. |
______________________________________ [Nov 12,2005 2:33pm - the_reverend ""] youth attack: I vaguely remember seeing them in RI. their set was good, but not to many people got into their set. a few people in the crowd moved around, but it would have been better if the crowd was warmed up. shipwreck: I've been wanting to see these guys for a while. heard good things. I thought that they were a posi band, but not so. I was told that they were sort of like integrity and I didn't really see it until the end of the set. their set was pretty intense. I was happy and will happily see them again. Todd was on the other side of the stage and I guess I ruined a bunch of his shots which sucks. he hit a ton of jumps perfectly. palehorse: horrible and terrible. two words that I would never use to describe this band. the last time I tried to check them out, they only got like 4 songs. this time was awesome. this band's been through a lot, but their music is still awesome. they have only one guitarist now, but they put a cab on each side of the stage so it makes it just that much more loud. I think that the crowd probably doesn't know their music. otherwise they probably would have gotten in to it a bit more. they need to get out a CD into the kids hands. I noticed at the end of their set that they and shipwreck take a similar part of their sound from the Integrity. |

____________________________________ [Nov 12,2005 3:38pm - anonymous ""] Palehorse: a great groop of kids with a pasion for music that I havent seen in a while. Believe it or not, CT hardcore is taking off agian in a positive way. |

______________________________________ [Nov 20,2005 4:15am - the_reverend ""] shoot to kill: they did two covers, united forces and some other one that I don't remember. the crowd got in to it, but I for one have nothing they put out so I didn't know any of the songs. this time was also majorly lacking their fog show. their music is loosely posi hardcore. very fun to see live. Every time I see them, you just know that they are up there on the stage, having fun. shere khan: I wasn't sure who (out side of OBW) was in the band. I was little surprised. I was also surprised that they could play for that long. the only thing of theire that I played on-air was the EP, but I guess they have more material to record and have a split plus are working on thier new CD. they had the most rowdy of the crowds that night. how did this band play with the legal troubles of the karate master and singer, jonathan? well, he spoke a little of it on the stage, mentioning death threat: I've seen their shows a lot lately. they are always really good. the best is that everyone in brockton knows all their songs so it's just people singing along and hoping up to the top of the pile. at some pointh. I didn't see what happened, but a kid that goes to all of these shows ended up getting hit a bunch of times and having to hide up where charlie mixes. that was lame, but I guess it all got worked out. so the music started back up. I always find it odd that fights can happen during such a positive band. they played just about every song that people yelled out for. it was kind of short set though. I thought that they were going to come back and play more, but every obviously was happy with the set and left. one of these days, I will figure out how aaron goes through an entire set with out taking his hoodie off or even the hood down... even when it's like 100 degrees. he must have an AC unit in there |
