new DECAPITATED song....[views:21460][posts:25]_____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 4:11pm - the rooster ""] http://www.empire-records.com.pl/mp3/decap...oem%20about%20an%20old%20prison.mp3 new vocalist. i like it. it's catchy and pissed off.... like brutal shit should be. and i have to agree with rustedangels other post... the dude's riffage is fucking unmatched. :shocker::pukeface: |
____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 4:19pm - RustedAngel ""] yep, vogg is the riffmaster. |
____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:21pm - brokenclown ""] killer riffs, shitty vokills, not that great to listen to, boring |
____________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:23pm - DrinkHardThrashHard ""] Decapitated are an excellent band, there is nothing shitty about the vocals that you can't say about 6,000 other bands you listen to. I do find their riffs getting worse since the first album was so amazing, but I hope this 4th record will go back to that formula and strip away some of the simplistic chug-mosh riffs that made the last two albums below perfection. |
_______________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:26pm - mark fucking richards ""] i don't mind the new vocalist, but i'd have to say i like the last vocalist better. i didn't even know he left. definitely aewsome either way |
_________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:28pm - brian_dc ""] sweet song...prefer the old vocalist though. excellence of the drums and guitars make up for any mediocrity involved here |
____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:35pm - brokenclown ""] I actually like it less my second time hearing it. almost got a fear factory or messugah sound to it, i hate the aformentioned bands, talented nevertheless |
____________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:36pm - DrinkHardThrashHard ""] I love Meshuggah, and I don't think this sounds anything like them. Tech Polish death, by the numbers. |
_______________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:37pm - mark fucking richards ""] i hear absolutely no meshuggah or fear factory at all. but that's just me. |
____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:38pm - brokenclown ""] i guess the choppy riffing and the monotony of that, made me think that way |
_______________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:43pm - mark fucking richards ""] actually, i hear a very slight resemblance to meshuggah in the bass sound, and one riff about 3/4 through the song. and maybe a little influence of the very first fear factory album on the vocals. |
____________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:48pm - DrinkHardThrashHard ""] I think the drums are where I separate the sound from Meshuggah. This song fucking kills, and they have set a new standard that Maggotinfested Corpsepile must destroy. Since those Fear Factory gruff vocals come bi-laterally from early Max Cavalera vocals, I will instead say the similarity in vocals is to late 80s Sepultura. |
____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 5:59pm - brokenclown ""] could you find yourself listening to this often or lost in the shuffle? |

_____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 6:15pm - Anthony nli ""] you can actually hear the bass now... wow. I never thought that happen with a decapitated record. this is awesome. so far i like it better than "the negation" cd, but then again it's only one song. The old vocalist was excellent and very different, but I think the new vocalist's style fits the music just as well, if not better. I thought 'the negation' was a bit stagnant, but this is a really intense progression. very impressive. |

Hehehe, you and I both know no matter how much I want to listen to everything in my library repeatedly, it's not always possible. |
________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 6:47pm - DreamingInExile ""] I like it, the vox are gonna take some getting used to, but they're not bad. musically it's really good, I'm looking forward to this album! :newhorns: this song definately kicks my ass |
____________________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 7:18pm - DrinkHardThrashHard ""] And mine. Kudos, Decapitated. Kudos. |
_____________________________________ [Nov 7,2005 9:44pm - the rooster ""] i like the vocals. this world definately doesn't need anymore "guttural" cannibal corpse vocals. |
______________________________ [Nov 8,2005 10:25am - cdan ""] I've always thought this band is overrated. They can play well, but the music is nothing special. This new vocalist kinda makes them sound like Machine Head, ha. |
_______________________________ [Nov 8,2005 10:40am - Yeti ""] i was listening to The Negation driving home last night. god damn that is an intense cd |
____________________________________ [Nov 22,2005 3:17pm - anonymous ""] FUCK THAT THE NEW VOCALS ARE GREAT AND DECAPITATED ARE THE MASTERS OF DEATH METAL. HAIL 666 |
_____________________________ [Nov 22,2005 3:20pm - pam ""] I was initially very disappointed in the new vocalist, I'm kinda over it now. They're DECAPITATED, I forgive them. |
___________________________________ [May 22,2017 4:06pm - susurrate ""] this is the crap they're putting out now. bennyhillifier |
_______________________________ [May 22,2017 5:29pm - Hoser ""] Yeah...junk. No like. |
