Do you enjoy metal? Are you sick of these question already?!?! Well, I'm a local guitarist looking to form a band or at least jam with fellow metalheads. Influences are: Cephalic Carnage, Carcass, Behold the Arctopus, Neuraxis, Morbid Angel, Blind Guardian, etc etc etc. I also listen to and incorporate Jazz, Classical and Celtic music into my material, so I'm a little out of the norm. Can you link me to any samples/mp3s of the sound your looking to head towards? The riffs I create happen to be very very linear, so folk metal may work. Would you want to keep it strictly folk metal or mix that genre with a little of others? |
