All I have to say is that I am glad I made it down to New Orleans before it became a gigantic cesspool.

This is a sign that we need to stop expanding. If we rebuild after this whole thing we'll just be setting our selves up for another catastrophic event.

We are going to try to do the best we can to get people to come out to the Cherry Street Station show on Saturday to help raise money to donate to the Relief for Hurricane Katrina. It is going to be a great show anyway but now we have a serious need for people to come out. We are going to raise as much money as possible and Thank You in advance to everyone for coming together and contributing to the help effort. The show is 21+

Anything that contributes to depopulating the earth is good...

Oh they will definately be rebuilding only to have mother nature smash them into bits again. This is the ignorant and death worthy nature of man. The house builders and roofing companies are set to make a killing down there though. $$$

They should probably try and rebuild the city in a location where it's not in so much danger. Back in the day when boat was the major means of trade and New Orleans was built around a thriving delta, yes it had a reason to be in a spot of peril but now that we have other methods of trade, keeping the city where it is seems pretty pointless.

But obviously they're going to rebuild everything in the same spot...
