blue said:
metalguy said:
dyingmuse said:
i-been-had
Total rip off, I paid 800 dollars for this bass. I-been-Had
sounds like someone didnt brush up on their gear knowledge beforehand and went out and bought an instrument without researching it. bad form.
My latest bass that I bought has a body made of alder with a quilted maple top. The neck is a maple/mahogany laminate. Rosewood fingerboard. It plays beautifully and sounds better. Kahler bridge, dual truss rod, gotoh tuners. I sure did learn my lesson from that bass. And I don't take much responsiblity for that short coming. I had only been playing for 2 years at the time and I went into guitar center. The only thing I knew is that had that amount of money to spend and I was looking for a 5 string. I think the people at Guitar Center should know thier shit about guitars, and care a little more about they are selling people. That price tag should not have been on that thing considering what it was made of in the first place. :wiggam:
