[QUOTE="ShadowSD:281099"]Exactly. Last year there were no headliners, and the official figures according to Jay were 330 paid, and another 180 people were there including bands/crew/staff. My band members were very skeptical before we played the show, thinking it would be lame, but they both 180'd by the end and said that it was a great time, exactly the kind of show we should play more often. The whole place was an outdoor metal party, great vibes, lots of fun. Most of the time, there was a good band on at least one of the stages, and the food was GREAT. Even if you only like some of the bands playing, it's worth checking out. If I took myself out of my own band for a moment and put myself in the position of a fan going to see this, I would personally count Suicide Dream, Black Harvest, Shroud of Bereavement, Sacreligion, and Norseth as bands I'd really enjoy seeing. There are other bands I'd get something out of, too, don't get me wrong (2nd Class has a good drummer, Blackout Frenzy's lead guitarist shreds, Screams of Erida had good solos and a cool bass player when I saw them at this last year, Hypersolid/Skulltoboggan/Antibody/ISL/RRH are all good guys who have been cool to us) -- but even putting all that aside, just five bands I'd really enjoy plus all-you-can-eat pig and cow is a great deal for $15 in my opinion.
