I'm gonna be 24 this year. truly built like a fucking tank. the new ones are shit though...see if you can get one of the older ones, they are made of thick fucking steel. RATs get better with age....they break in. cheap as hell, too. |

I like anything with a blend knob, I try to get a nice Cnic/Atheist syle midend tone, with just a hint of growly distortion that only comes through when the bass is solo. Ibanez makes a decent one, and I think the Boss one's ok, I've used that. Of course, when you're talking about distorted bass - Danny Lilker swears by the SansAmp GT2 - the guitar pedal, not the Bass Driver. :nuke: |

Im sure, its the same as old thing as any 'buff' or fan of some product would attest to. Old Gibson paf afficianado's said when they removed the gold sticker from the bottom of the pickup, they lost their 'tone' and demanded only P.A.F. 's and not the newer models. I saw a proco BRAT and it was like bright pink and I thought, hmm Rat has gotten gay. The main reason Im not a RAT fan, is............................................... My dad used to use one !!
